Privacy policy

Wave Digital Limited respects your privacy and follows New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020. This policy covers this website and the work we do for clients.

What we collect

We only ask for personal information when we need it to reply to you or do work for you: usually your name, email address, phone number and what you tell us about the problem. When you use the free email check, we look up public DNS records for the domain you type in; we don't store the domain against you.

How we use it

We use your information to reply, to do the work you've asked for, and to bill you. We don't sell it, and we don't share it with anyone except when the job needs it (for example a domain registrar during a transfer) or the law requires it.

Client data

When a job involves your data or accounts, we access only what the job needs, keep copies only while we work, and delete them when we're done. We only use tools that don't train on your data.

Keeping it safe

We protect information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and keep it only as long as we need it.

Your rights

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@wavedigital.co.nz. If you're not happy with how we've handled it, you can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
